What Kind Of Animals Does The Tropical Rainforest Have

Here are eleven amazing rainforest species we are helping to protect with our innovative approach to conservation:

1. Mountain Gorilla

Mountain gorillas are the largest living primates on globe! Forth with chimpanzees, orangutan, and bonobos, they are the closest living relatives of humans, with mountain gorillas having the well-nigh developed encephalon of the four. 3. Okapi

The striking okapi—the closest living relative of the giraffe—lives in the dense tropical Ituri Forest of Central Africa. A master of camouflage, its striped hindquarters and brown hide helps it "disappear" into the filtered low-cal of the forest.

4. Brownish-Throated 3-Toed Sloth

9. Black Howler Monkey

The black howler monkey earns its moniker with the loud howl it uses to marker territory. These vocalizations, which sound like a potent wind blowing through a tunnel, tin can be heard up to two miles abroad. These monkeys alive high up in tall rainforest trees in groups of 4 to 19.

10. Sulawesi Bear Cuscus

Named for its thick, night, and comport-like fur, the Sulawesi bear cuscus isn't a true conduct, but is really an arboreal marsupial. Like other marsupials, the female person Sulawesi bear cuscus gives birth to relatively underdeveloped offspring and carries the infant in a pouch on her belly until it is approximately eight months old and sufficiently developed for survival.
